whats this, two posts in one day? i've turned a new leaf my little monsters! as i've mentioned before my old 8.5x11 sketchbook has been filled out so im transitioning into a new booklet. trying to figure out the best way to use it, (graphite/pen) so if you have any thoughts leave a comment.
this is a portrait of no particular person, just a medley of pictures i liked and drew in graphite (which seems to scan better) ...one day i'll meet someone with a handlebar mustache and my world will shine a little brighter....

itinerant tea-envoker
tea-envokers are a nomadic gathers who package and sell the essence of distant regions. empty teabags filtrate the air to collect the distinctiveness of it's locale and then transmutes the approperate herbs and leaves. once a gross weight of two grams is reached, a teabag begins to brew itself as it continues to filtrate. to prevent brewing, a ripen teabag is placed atop a lid on an envoker's head where it held for safekeeping or until sold

the ardor-somnolent is a class bestowed onto turtles whose lives have stretched out so far that they have experienced the entire spectrum available to their physical bodies. at the point in which their last experience is had their carapace transcends the current tangible realm and enters a state of negligible ethereality, becoming a dream cloud. from then, the ardor-somnolent is carried from one subconscious mind to another by lazy winds inducing dreams and indulging in idol conversations wherever they go

i cant find my head...
this was a sketch i did back last summer, so its kinda a daily sketch... i always liked it but never had a chance to make it more than just a sketch so i picked it up yesterday and finished it today. man did working in colours really hit the spot
